Home / Technology Applications / Downhole Power Section Elastomer Removal
Progressing cavity downhole pump manufactures are faced with increasing pressure to reduce the cost for recovering their drilling pump motor power sections. Current market providers use technology that is slow and leaves significant residue behind. Our proprietary technology has been proven to break any bond and remove any elastomer, fast and more cost effectively. In addition, the pipe is clean and only requires a light blast before putting back into production (no burnoff or chemical stripping needed).
Our technology exceeds any technology currently used and will provide pump manufacturers OEM's with a significant technology advantage.
2 to 7 minutes (regardless of length)
Any length, any outside diameter (OD), any wall thickness
Any Elastomer (Fluoroelastomers, Nitriles, Chloroprene, EPDM, Natural rubbers, Silicone, Fluorocarbon, Hydrin, SBR and Phenolic / Urethane).
Any bonding agent
Can be as low as $10.00 per stator (depending on volume)
No impact on metallurgy, consistent results every time
Technology will quickly and very affordably release the bond holding the elastomer to the power section stator.
Once de-bonded, the elastomer is easily removed leaving little trace of the bonding agent or elastomer material.
